WWHC Believes That You Should Be Empowered In Your Healthcare Decisions
Kate Migyanko
My name is Kate. I’m a certified antenatal, birth, and postpartum doula. I am a wife and a loving mother to my two beautiful babies, Ivy and Nash. I love music, reading and have an undying need for wanderlust. You can often find me in my local coffee shop (Shoutout – Sullivan Brothers Coffee Company) reading about placentas and breastmilk. LOL!
I have dedicated my life to serving women; that is why I have chosen to fully immerse myself into birth work. I believe it is my life’s purpose to provide a heart-centered, spiritual outlook to mothers in this divine time in their lives.
Kristie Breakiron
Hi, I’m Kristie. I am a certified doula, and I have been enthralled with pregnancy and birth work since before my first pregnancy in 2013. It has since evolved into my passion and life’s purpose. I am so grateful to have found an outlet where I can exercise my knowledge around the beautiful process of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Beyond birth work, I am a wife, a mother of two beautiful babies, Kendall and Owen. I also helped make two families as a gestational carrier.
Aside from spending time with my family, I enjoy vacationing at the beach and going to theme parks.
I cannot wait to walk alongside women as they transition into motherhood.
Shannon Dawson, BSN, RN
Hi! I’m Shannon! Nursing is my passion.
I was born and raised in Morgantown but found myself living down south in Memphis, Savannah and Little Rock for span of 15 years. I graduated with my BS in Community Health in 2005 and my BSN from The University of Akanasas in 2011.
For the past 6 years, I have been working as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery and Women’s Health. I’m excited to bring my experience as a Labor & Delivery nurse to the birth assistant position with WWHC.
In my spare time I love to binge watch British dramas, working in my flower beds, spending time with my 3 daughters, my husband and my Jack Russel Nola.
Just wanted to say that you have made such a positive impact on my life in this transition, I dont think I can ever thank you enough. I am so grateful our paths crossed when they did. You and Gail have made my journey into motherhood comfortable, calm, and supported- I will forever be grateful. .
